Key Responsibilities

Participate actively and regularly in Committee meetings.Contribute time, knowledge, skill and subject matter expertise to the fulfillment of the Committee's mandateUnderstand their role, expectations, and accountabilities as determined by the Committee Chair.Undertake work as assigned by the Committee Chair to support and implement the Committee’s plans.Help identify and secure subject matter experts, speakers, and interviewees for social media content, as required.Act as an on-camera host or interviewer for digital content, including videos and podcasts, facilitating engaging conversations with industry experts, as required.Develop and maintain a climate where mutual support, trust, respect, courtesy, teamwork, creativity, and a sense of humour are valued.Serve as ambassadors of the Digital Content Committee on matters related to amplifying our influence and impact within the investment and financial services industry and expanding our member community, as required.Supporting our marketing and communications activities, as needed.Other duties as assigned by Committee Chair(s).

Time Commitment & Term

Two-year term, renewable for an additional two-year term if mutually agreed.Ability to attend at least 75% of the committee meetings, which take place quarterly.Approximately 5 hours per month, including committee meetings, content creation, content review and ad-hoc event attendance.

Skills & Qualifications

CFA Charterholder or candidate.Current CFAST member in good standing.5+ year experience in the finance or related industryExperience or strong interest in podcasts, video interviews, digital content, communications, or online content creation.Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and a willingness to share insights and feedback.

Training & Support

Orientation from the Chair and/or Vice-Chair of the Digital Content Committee.Access to committee resources, volunteer tools, and staff support.Guidance from the Chair and Vice Chair on fulfilling assigned responsibilities.

Accountability & Reporting

Accountable to Chair (and Vice Chair) of Digital Content Committee.Works in collaboration with other Committee members, Committee chairs, and CFAST staff to meet strategic targets and campaign deadlines.
